Some of you, that follow my reviews, may have already figured out that blood pressure monitor reviews are one of my favorite products to report on. Well built and well designed, the accuracy of the LifeSsource UA-853AC is second to none. It is not on the cheaper end of the BP monitor spectrum; however, it isn’t expensive either. If you consider all of the features this unit has to offer, it should be considered a very good value.

My favorite feature of the LifeSource UA-853CP monitor is the Irregular Heartbeat Detection technology it uses. IHD allows a user to know when irregularities occur that could be signs of arrhythmia issues. IHD Detection information provided by the monitor will help a physician in properly charting a course of action I cannot stress enough how valuable this feature could potentially be for some people. In only a few years, the IHD technology has already saved countless lives with early detection. Early detection leads to a better chance of correcting a defective condition.

The TimeWise system, used by the LifeSource UA-853AC, makes the monitor aware of both morning and evening BP readings, and is another very useful and informative feature. In addition, the monitor stores both morning and evening reading averages. This can help a physician determine medicine dosages. If you take medication for hypertension, then you know that morning and evening dosages will often times vary. When it’s time for your next doctor’s appointment, your doctor will be pleased with these reports.

The LifeSource UA-853AC also has the ability to ring an alarm at 3 different times to remind you to take your medication (a nice touch for the slightly absentminded) The LifeSource UA-853AC will also store results for your last ninety blood pressure checks. These logging and reporting results, enable your doctor better gauge the effectiveness of any potential medications. With its large LCD Display, reading your pressure check result is easy and understandable.

The LifeSource UA853AC is a solidly built machine designed for years use. Lifesource offers a very generous lifetime warranty on the unit as well. The LifeSource UA-853AC Blood Pressure Monitor is a monitor of the highest caliber. The size of the unit prohibits it from being classified as very convenient for travel purposes; although it could be packed in a larger overnight bag or such.

This Lifesource Monitor is a solidly built Blood Pressure Monitor that will give you very accurate results for years, with reasonable care and use. The UA-853AC unit is moderately priced and is well worth the money. There is nothing fancy here; but nothing lacking either. It is a workhorse!
